ISB Class of 2026 Graduation Celebration at Palazzo de’ Toschi

On Thursday, 28 May 2026, the ISB community gathered in the stunning setting of Palazzo de’ Toschi to celebrate an important milestone: the graduation of the ISB Class of 2026. It was an emotional and unforgettable evening, marking the successful completion of an extraordinary educational journey for 20 learners who proudly received their diplomas surrounded by families, teachers, and friends.

The Class of 2026 has been a truly special group — cohesive, supportive, curious, and full of energy from the very beginning. Over the years, they have grown together not only academically, but also personally, building friendships and memories that will last a lifetime. They studied hard, challenged themselves, embraced new experiences, and always managed to bring positivity, laughter, and team spirit into everyday school life. Their resilience, creativity, and sense of community made this class stand out in many ways.

The evening became even more inspiring thanks to the presence of a special guest speaker, ISB alumnus Mr. Alberto Berni, Class of 2020. After graduating from ISB, Alberto continued his academic journey studying MEng Computer Science at the University of Southampton, where he is actively involved in HCP & MLOps research and is also an IEEE Member.

Today, Alberto serves as the Head of Education at the University of Southampton Artificial Intelligence Society, where he coordinates a team of Research Analysts and oversees the development and delivery of educational workshops. His role also includes supervising the quality of workshop content and collaborating with public speakers and event managers to organize AI-related talks and initiatives.

During the ceremony, Alberto delivered a heartfelt and inspirational speech to the graduating class, sharing reflections on his own journey after ISB and encouraging students to remain curious, ambitious, and open to the opportunities ahead of them. His words deeply resonated with the audience and offered a powerful example of how passion, dedication, and perseverance can lead to exciting futures.

Our Head of School, Janecke Aarnaes, and DP Coordinator, Nazanin Nikanjam, also addressed the graduates with warm and meaningful speeches, congratulating the students on their achievements and wishing them success, happiness, and fulfillment in the next chapter of their lives.

The official ceremony concluded with a joyful aperitivo where students, families, and staff celebrated together in an atmosphere filled with smiles, laughter, love, and pride. It was the perfect ending to a memorable evening and a beautiful way to honour the achievements of the ISB Class of 2026.
