ADMISSION PROCESS
We understand that selecting a new school in a new location is not an easy task which involves a number of important decisions. Our aim is to provide you with all the necessary information and support that help make this a straightforward process.
1. Get in touch
Contact us at admission@isbologna.com or fill the contact form at the bottom of the page.
2. Inquiry Meeting
This can be done in person at the school, by video conference or even through an exchange of emails. The purpose of this meeting is for a family to get a good understanding of ISB and its mission and to see if it could potentially be a good match for their family. It is also an opportunity for the school to understand the needs of the family and help in advising the next step.
3. Application
If the decision is made to go ahead, then the family will be asked to submit documents to support their application. Please, send your application to the attention of Ms. Olivia Crenim.
4. Interview
Once these are received by the school, the family can then set up a time for the Interview. The Interview process is age-appropriate: for younger students, this involves an observed class visit; and for older students, it includes testing and an interview. The purpose of the Interview is to establish that the school will be able to successfully support the needs of each student.
ISB does not accept requests to 'anticipate' students as per the Italian education system (move a child up one grade outside the school's grade promotion requirements).
With all the information available, the school’s Admission committee meets and can usually communicate a decision to the family within 48 hours.
