At the International School of Bologna, we are committed to safeguarding and to promoting the well-being of every learner and expect that everyone working with us shares this commitment. It is school policy to actively seek confidential references for all new employees. New employees coming from outside Italy are required to provide a police background check from their current country of employment/residence and from previous countries they have worked in. For local hires, a police background check is carried out with the local authorities.
