Admissions

Thank you for your interest in the Admission process at IS Bologna.
We understand that selecting a new school in a new location is not an easy task which involves a number of important decisions.  Our aim is to provide you with all the necessary information and support that helps make this a straightforward process.

The Admission process at ISB has two simple steps:

  1. Inquiry meeting

This can be done in person at the school, by video conference or even through an exchange of mails. The purpose of this meeting is for a family to get a good understanding of ISB and its vision and mission and to see if it could potentially be a good match for their family. It is also an opportunity for the school to understand the needs of the family and help in advising a  next step.

  1. Interview

If the decision is made to go ahead, then the family will be asked to submit documents to support their application. Once these are received by the school, the family can then set up a time for the Interview. The Interview process is age appropriate: for younger students this involves an observed class visit; and for older students it includes testing and an interview. The purpose of the Interview is to establish that the school will be able to successfully support the needs of each student.

With all the information available, the school’s Admission committee meet and can usually communicate a decision to the family with 24 hours.

If you are considering an application to ISB please read the related documents and if you require any further information or wish to set up an Inquiry meeting please contact Ms Olivia Cremin at admission@isbologna.com

We look forward to meeting you.
