Enrolment

Prior to enrolling your child it is very important that you:

• Read all the information on the school website or from the information that is sent to you on request
• Read the Mission Statement and the Statement of Philosophy which drives the school
• Read the Admission Policy
• Discuss all aspects of entry into the school with the Principal or the Deputy
• Understand that the school delivers the curriculum through the medium of the English language
• Talk to friends who may have children already at the school

Once you are convinced that ISB is the school for your child, you will be asked to complete an application form and supply the school with information. For Elementary school applications, parents must provide full school reports for the last two years and ISB may also contact previous schools for references.

The application is activated by the payment of the Admissions Fee and confirmed by a letter from the school.

The school has a non selective policy of admission however the underlining criteria is that the school must be in the position to offer an appropriate education for your child. The school does not, at present, have a programme for students who have special educational or social needs.

It is highly recommended that at least one parent has a working knowledge of the English language. All meetings with teachers (except for the Italian programme) will be conducted in English.
